Treva Smith is the Care Coordination Manager at KC Care Health Center serving the Kansas City Metro area. Treva is also a CHW instructor in Kansas and Missouri and has dedicated nearly 20 years to studying, educating, and advocating for Community Health. Treva is actively involved in the work of health promotion through Peer and Community Health Worker workforce development in both Kansas and Missouri. Treva is an active board member of the Community Health Worker Association of Missouri and the Kansas Community Health Worker Coalition – Education Committee member. In 2022 she was elected to the National Association of Community Health Workers’ board of directors. Treva resides in Topeka, KS, with her husband; they have five adult children and three beautiful grandchildren.
