The Kansas Community Health Worker Coalition selected the Kansas Community Health Worker Core Competency Curriculum from the Mid-America Regional Council as the standard curriculum.

- Adult Learning Theory & Popular Education-based
- Teaching roles, boundaries, communication, facilitation, and mediation
- Final project preparation and delivery
