A member of EITAS and UMKC Institute for Human Development design team to educate personal care assistants and community health workers working with persons with intellectual and physical disabilities. Established a Perinatal and Women’s Mental Health program for a major hospital system to include individual and group counseling.
Current Adjunct Faculty for the Community Health Worker Course and former Industry Healthcare Coordinator at Metropolitan Community College, Institute for Workforce Innovation. Coordinator of a team that developed the Community Health Worker Course currently offered. Course is recognized by the State of Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services Division and is being shared with other Community Colleges in MO.
Past Board Chair for Mother & Child Health Coalition of Kansas City. Current member of the Kansas City, MO Health Commission Birth Outcomes sub-committee.
A member of MARC’s Regional Community Health Worker Executive Team and Co-Chair of the CHW Advocacy Sub-Committee. A member of Kansas City Caring for All Ages sub-committee under MARC.
