Cancer Council of Reno County
Provide services to cancer patients in Reno County – no hospital bills, doctor bills, or scans included. Mostly services outside the doctor’s office. Provide financial assistance for the following: prescription co-pays; mileage; wigs, etc; nutritional supplements; durable medical equipment; over-the-counter medications; lodging and daily food allowance when at a consultation; some cancer related dental work.
K-State Research and Extension

KU Wichita Center for Breast Cancer Survivorship
Survivors with concerns after treatment has been completed can access support and resources needed to live with the lifelong reality of cancer diagnosis. Services available in the program can be partially or fully accessed.

Resources for Veterans, housing for disabled Veterans 60 years and older. Assist with applying for benefits. Free transportation to medical appointments for disabled veterans.

Services vary by location but may include: casework, personal development programs, recreation activities and programs, disaster/emergency services, ministries, nutrition education, group homes, transitional housing, military personnel assistance and rehabilitation services.
