Lauren Lauridsen is the Public Health Educator for the Kansas Arthritis Prohram within the Bureau of Health Promotion at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. She received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Kansas in 2012. Following graduation, she worked in mental health services and community-based programs until taking her current role in August 2017. She is currently working toward a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Community Health Education through San Jose State University, with plans to graduate in August 2018. Lauren lives with her husband in Lawrence where they enjoy being outdoors, reading, and spoiling their dog and two cats.
