Lisa Ross

Lisa Ross is the State Coordinator of the Kansas Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education Program (SNAP-ED) delivered through Kansas State Research and Extension. Lisa has over 25 years’ experience in public health and working with low-income individuals and families. Lisa’s experience includes organizing, planning, directing, and managing multiple programs that have direct impact on improving the overall health of individuals and communities.  Prior to K-State Research and Extension, Lisa was the coordinator of the local Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Riley County and served as Interim Director of the Riley County Health Department. Lisa’s passions lie in helping underserved populations gain access to resources and opportunities to achieve optimal health.  Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics in 1994 from Kansas State University and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health with an emphasis area in nutrition from Kansas State University and will graduate the summer of 2021.
